Competitive School-Based SLP Opportunity

We are actively seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide evaluation and therapy services within a school setting. The School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing treatment recommendations, providing therapy services, and maintaining documentation in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care and educational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed.
  • Maintain timely and accurate therapy notes, evaluations, and reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and district policies.
  • Support students with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.
  • Current TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.
  • Current health certificate, if required by state or district regulations.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Previous school-based experience.
  • Experience working with IEP teams and special education populations.
