The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

In this role, Classroom Aides will:
- Provide direct support to students requiring behavioral interventions.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to manage maladaptive and aggressive behaviors.
- Support students in staying on track with academic tasks, including homework and classwork.
- Collaborate with school staff and supervisors to ensure students receive consistent and effective behavioral support.
- Support in both special education and general education classrooms
- Minimum High School Diploma or College degree preferred
- Full Time, Part Time, or On-Call Substitutes
- Availability at least 2–5 weekdays per week (Full time & Part time)
- Flexibility between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

- Competitive Pay Rate - up to $23 / Hour

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
