Now hiring Behavior Technicians (Paraeducators / Paraprofessionals) to support K–12 students in schools across Elk Grove for the 2026–2027 school year.
In this school-based role, you will work 1:1 or in classroom settings with students receiving special education services, behavioral support, or 504 accommodations. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience as a para, classroom aide, or behavior technician.
Location: Elk Grove, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday (30–36 hours/week) between 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18–$24 per hour (based on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Behavior Technicians to support students with a range of behavioral and developmental needs. You will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and BCBAs to provide consistent behavioral support and academic assistance in a school setting.

This Behavior Technician / Paraeducator role includes:
• Providing 1:1 or small group behavioral support
• Assisting students in classroom and school environments
• Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Supporting students with daily activities and transitions
• Collecting data on student behavior and progress
• Assisting teachers with instructional and classroom support
• Providing social and emotional support to students
• Supporting students with mobility or physical needs (if applicable)

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• ADHD / ADD
• Down Syndrome
• Cerebral Palsy
• Learning disabilities
• Other developmental or behavioral needs

Minimum Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician, Paraeducator, Paraprofessional, or similar school-based role (Preferred)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Must have access to a cell phone to clock in/out
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• TB test required (if not completed within the last 90 days, we can assist)
