SPED Paraprofessionals / Behavior Technicians
Pay: $20–$25/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Start: ASAP through end of the school year
We are hiring Special Education Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians to support students with academic, behavioral, and functional needs.
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students under teacher direction
Assist with academic tasks, behavior plans, and skill development
Support classroom routines and transitions
Collect data on student progress as directed
Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers and service providers
Requirements
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s preferred
Ability to obtain DPI Special Education Program Aide license
Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred
Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow behavior plans and instructional guidance
