Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Beloit, WI Area

$35/hr | ASAP Start | Through End of 2025–2026 School Year
FLOAT Role

I’m hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across schools in the Beloit, WI area for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This is a school-based FLOAT position working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Position Details

  • Location: Beloit, WI area
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Through the 2025–2026 school year
  • Compensation: $35/hr

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct & indirect OT services per IEPs
  • Support fine motor, sensory regulation, visual-motor, and functional skills
  • Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
  • Track and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service teams
  • Assist in evaluations and screenings as assigned
  • Follow district, state, and federal guidelines

Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin OTA License (DSPS)
  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program
  • NBCOT certification (COTA)
  • Ability to pass all school-required background checks
  • Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
