FLOAT Role
I’m hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students across schools in the Beloit, WI area for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. This is a school-based FLOAT position working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
Position Details
- Location: Beloit, WI area
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Through the 2025–2026 school year
- Compensation: $35/hr
Responsibilities
- Provide direct & indirect OT services per IEPs
- Support fine motor, sensory regulation, visual-motor, and functional skills
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising OT
- Track and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service teams
- Assist in evaluations and screenings as assigned
- Follow district, state, and federal guidelines
Requirements
- Active Wisconsin OTA License (DSPS)
- Graduate of an accredited OTA program
- NBCOT certification (COTA)
- Ability to pass all school-required background checks
- Pediatric or school-based experience preferred
