Celebrating Educators during National Teacher’s Appreciation Day!
Today is National Teacher’s Appreciation Day!

Spotlighting Jean Steffens
A perfect example of an amazing educator is special education teacher Jean Steffens. Jean has been a special education teacher for over 15 years, but after retiring in 2022, she realized she still had a passion for teaching and contributing to the needs of special education students. Amergis Staffing helped Jean find the perfect contract opportunity, allowing her to continue doing what she loves
“Jean finds genuine joy by working through her caseload, lesson planning, progress monitoring, and conducting IEP research. She is patient with students, and cares about being there for them,” says Amergis Educational Staffing recruiter Sydney Tucker. “I am honored to have Jean as a caregiver of mine, and I am inspired by her passion!
