Job Title: School Based Psychologist – Centralia, WA
Pay Rate: $72/hour
Hours per Week: 37.5
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of 2025–2026 School Year
Position Overview
The School Psychologist works to support students through avariety of mental health and developmental challenges and assists in qualifyingstudents for additional support services. This role is responsible forproviding on-site psychological services to students in compliance with stateregulations and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
- Provide counseling and intervention strategies to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and provide expert recommendations for student support plans.
Minimum Requirements
- Current state licensure and/or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of assignment.
- Master’s degree in Psychology (preferred).
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred).
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
