Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)
Location: Maryland | Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Full School Year
Schedule: M–F, up to 33.75 hrs/week
Highlights:
- Impactful Role: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders for elementary and middle school students.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with teachers, families, and therapy teams to support IEP goals.
- Caseload: School-based, in-person only.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide therapy services per individualized plans.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate notes in Relay (weekly updates required).
- Partner with educators and parents to enhance student success.
Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland.
- CCC-SLP preferred (may be required by contract).
- Minimum 1 year of school-based experience.
- Compliance with all credentialing requirements (fingerprinting, MSDE, health screenings).
