Special Education Teacher – Elementary
Start Date: ASAP | Duration: Through 2025–26 School Year
Schedule: Full-Time (35 hrs/week)
Highlights:
- Impactful Role: Support K–12 students with special needs through individualized instruction and collaborative planning.
- Team Environment: Work closely with general education staff, families, and support teams to ensure student success.
- Locations: Multiple elementary schools
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
- Collect and analyze student performance data to guide instruction.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- MSDE Certification with Special Education endorsement (no conditional/provisional licenses).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of SPED teaching experience.
