About the Role:
Amergis Healthcareis seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for amale elementary school student. This full-time, school-based role includespersonal care, classroom support, and basic health services under thesupervision of the district school nurse or clinical designee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care - following student's care plan
- Monitor and support student with urostomy and catheter
- Collaborate with classroom staff (teacher and assistant) to support student participation
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow school health protocols
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in North Carolina
- Current CPR certification (if applicable)
- TB screening and health certificate (as required)
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with pediatric or school-based care preferred
