Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a School Nurse (LVN/LPN)for the 2025-2026 school year in Chula Vista, CA.

 

Position Details: 

 

Pay: $30-35/hour depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP, upon completion on onboarding

Hours Per Week: 30 hours

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Length: 2025-2026 School Year

Requirements: Must have CA LVN/LPN license and aCPR/BLS certificate; at least 1 year of nursing experience required, in-school/pediatricexperience preferred

Additional Details: This LVN will be supportingthe entire school district, working alongside the district RN. Must becomfortable commuting to different schools in the Chula Vista Elementary SchoolDistrict.

The School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices. The School Nurse provides services in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing's philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accreditedregistered, practical or vocational nursing program
  • Licensed as a LicensedPractical, Licensed Vocational or Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing
  • One year of professionalexperience, preferred
  • Current CPR
  • PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (percontract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state andlocal requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
