Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a passionate U.S. Government and Economics teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will design engaging lessons that promote civic understanding, economic literacy, and critical thinking, while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Strong communication skills and a passion for preparing students to be informed, responsible citizens are essential.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
- TN teacher license required
- One year of experience as a licensed teacher in related subject area
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
