Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer
Location: Southern Pines, NC and Cameron, NC
Contract Length: Remainder of the School Year
Hours/Week: 7–15 hours (subject to increase based on season and activity level)
Schedule: Typically 4:00/4:30 PM – 9:00 PM on weekdays, depending on practice and game times
Primary Sports Coverage: Wrestling, Baseball, Soccer, Softball

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Athletic Trainer to support our student-athletes during practices and games. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports medicine and committed to ensuring the health and safety of our athletes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • State Athletic Training licensure, certification, and/or registration (as applicable by state)
  • Certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)
  • National certification or certification by the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association
  • Minimum of three (3) years of athletic training experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities:

  • Provide athletic training services during practices and games
  • Evaluate and treat sports-related injuries
  • Collaborate with coaches, school staff, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments
  • Promote injury prevention strategies and wellness education
