Transport 1.1 RN

Amergis Educational Staffing is currently hiring a Transport RN for a school-based assignment supporting a student going to and from Middleboro, MA to Watertown

Position: 1:1 Transport RN

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year
• Location: Transportation route from Middleboro, MA to Watertown
• Pickup Location: To be coordinated with the school and bus company
• Pay:$40- $52 an hour
• Schedule:
• AM Shift: 6:45 AM – 10:30 AM
• PM Shift: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday PM Shift: 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Role Overview:

The RN will provide 1:1 support during transportation only. The student requires monitoring for medical needs during the commute, which takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours each way.

Student Needs:

• G-Tube care
• Diabetes monitoring
• Supervision during transport only

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Massachusetts
• Experience with G-Tube and diabetes care preferred
• Ability to maintain a calm and supportive presence during transport

The 1:1 School Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the nursing process and delivering individualized student care within the school environment. This role ensures that all services are provided in alignment with physician orders and in accordance with the standards, policies, and philosophy of both the School District and Amergis Healthcare.  

Minimum Requirements:  

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state(s) where practicing  
• One year of school nursing experience, preferred  
• Pediatric experience, preferred  
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice  
• Current CPR if applicable 
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable  
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)  
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements  
• Must be at least 18 years of age
